Surgery
We perform a wide range of surgical procedures. Our patients are maintained on specialised low flow paediatric anaesthetic circuits. Our staff are highly trained to ensure the best care for your pet.

Hospitalisation
We have 16 kennels of various sizes in a heated room, a separate area for contagious animals and 5 critical care incubators to care for birds and exotics.

Equipment
We offer full Medical, Diagnostic - including blood and urine testing, Surgical – including endoscopy, Dental and X-Ray Facilities.

Diagnostic Services
We have an on-site blood chemistry analyser (Vet-Scan) which can provide pre-anaesthetic blood testing, geriatric pet checks and a range of biochemistry panels – with results available within 15 minutes, removing the need for waiting for many test results to be returned from off-site laboratories. We also offer faecal and urine examinations and water testing.

Dentistry
We have a dental scaler and a high-speed dental drill and polishing unit for cleaning and polishing teeth, and extracting diseased teeth with minimal trauma to your pet. We also have special equipment for carrying out rabbit and rodent dentistry.

Microchipping
Microchipping is designed to provide an effective means of reuniting owners with pets that have strayed.  It is the most infallible way of permanently identifying your pet.
The process involves inserting a small microchip under your pet's skin where it stays safely for life. The insertion procedure is quick and simple.  For your pet it will feel much the same as having a vaccination injection. It can be done at a specific appointment or when you bring your pet for their annual health check & vaccination or when they come in for any kind of surgery.
The microchip has it's own worldwide "unique" code number. When a scanner is passed over the area your pets unique number is shown. Your pets details are registered for life on an Australasian wide database and/or with the New Zealand regional council database.

Nurses Clinics
Our nurses run health clinics to assist you with your pets skin condition, arthritis, kidney diseases or weight control.

Payment Policy
Please pay at the time of your pet's consultation or pick-up after surgery.   As we are unable to extend credit, if you require assistance to pay your account you may be referred to an independent credit agency.
