Dr. Kevin Turner
Kevin has a very specific interest in exotics and wildlife and when''s he''s not dealing with everything from turtles to turkeys, he enjoys a trip on the boat and hopefully a fish supper! Beverley Stanley-Clarke
Beverley graduated from Massey University and has been a vet for 10 years in small animal practices in Rotorua and South Auckland. She joined the Vets for Pets team in 2007. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery. She did a correspondence course in avian medicine through Sydney University in 2006 as has developed her skillsin this area over the last year. We are very happy to have her on board full time. Beverley is the proud owner of “Millie” the naughty torti who she found as a stray kitten. Her personal interests cover a wide spectrum: anything from white water rafting to walking around the local parks in her lunch breaks. NURSES Laura Wilkinson
Laura has been with us since 2007 and has seven years of nursing experience. She spend three months in the veterinary field in England in 2007. There she learned many new techniques that we have integrated to further our quality of care at this practice. Laura also looks after our skin health clinic patients. Bianca Kuhlmann
Bianca joined us in December 2007 and has a flair for avian medicine. This year she returns to studying at Unitec for one day a week to complete her Vet Nursing Diploma. Bianca looks after our weight loss and arthritis health clinic patients. When she is not busy studying or working she likes tramping, sea-kayaking and teaching her birds new tricks, as well as enjoying working at the New Zealand Centre for Conservation Medicine (NZCCM) on spare weekend days. Justine Welsh Justine brings us seven years of experience with cats and dogs as a manager of a boarding establishment as well as having been the head nurse at Hillsborough Vet Clinic. She is qualified in General Animal Science (cat) and holds The National Certificate in Retail L2 and Certificate in Animal Industry Services L3. Outside of work Justine is kept busy with three children and family life. RECEPTION Julie Reyland After many years volunteering in an animal shelter, working with cats, in a pet shop and another vet clinic Julie started as our receptionist in 2009. She has got 3 dogs and several cats: all loved and spoiled rotten. Outside work she is very involved with her families sporting activities . She manages softball teams and dance troupes and takes pride in following the achievements of her husband, daughter and son. PART-TIME STAFF Andrew Paterson (Vet)

After many years working in New Zealand, England, Greece and Egypt Andrew is now covering vets in our clinic group when they are on holiday. Apart from being a vet Andrew has a keen interest in DIY building and landscaping and during the summer is an avid water skier.
Jodi Salinsky (Vet) Jodi qualified as a vet in the USA but has been living and working in NZ for many years. She has a passion for zoo animal medicine and works with Auckland zoo. She completed a Residency at Massey university in avian and wildlife medicine.
Gaby Alter (Vet) Gaby is the newest addition to the team. She has trained as a vet in Hamburg/Germany. She came to New Zealand 17 years ago. While she enjoys doing locum work in different clinics including after hours, she is very exited to work with exotic patients again. In the New Zealand winter months she likes to go back to Germany to enjoy their summer… and No matter where Gaby is, she likes walking, loves Rock’n Roll dancing, baking and cooking.
Rachel Gillon (Reception) Where would Lynfield Vet Clinic be without Rachel''s fantastic organizational skills? Thanks to her the reception is always ship shape!
